Saturday and Sunday (Jul. 11 and 12) the "Manhattanhenge" will be visible.

If you're wondering what that is, I'll give a brief explanation:
It simply means that on those days, around sunset (8:25PM aprox) the sun will either be completely visible, or half visible on the horizon on any of the streets in Manhattan running in the general direction of East-West.
I'm planing on going out to take pictures of this on Sunday. hopefully I'll get some nice shots.
UPDATE:Since the weather seems to be nice all throughout today, I'm, thinking about taken pictures along 34th street. I'll be near the Empire State Building. I might also think about 42nd street (15 min. is not a lot of time).
The whole thing is going to happen around 8:25 PM-ish If anyone wants to meet up and shoot together, post a comment here so I know! We should all meet up between 7:15-7:30 in Bryant Park and then head over to 34th street. From there, we'll figure out where to shoot from (probably move back to or past Park ave).
I'll be wearing a orange T-shirt and the hat I wore to the meet.
